Description of the TECC REFRESH ONLINE training

The T.E.C.C. (Tactical Emergency Casualty Care) training is designed to train healthcare professionals and first responders to provide emergency medical care in high-risk tactical situations. It emphasizes the management of traumatic injuries in hostile environments, such as crime scenes, combat zones, or situations of armed violence.

The T.E.C.C. training program aims to equip participants with the skills necessary to quickly assess injuries, prioritize care, and intervene effectively to save lives. Participants learn to adapt their traditional medical knowledge to the realities of tactical situations, where conditions can be volatile and resources limited.

T.E.C.C. training focuses on the key principles of casualty care in tactical situations, including rapid decision-making, airway management, hemorrhage control, stabilization of fractures and musculoskeletal trauma, as well as extraction and evacuation techniques of the injured in hostile environments.

Participants in the T.E.C.C. training benefit from theoretical courses, practical demonstrations, simulation exercises, and realistic scenarios. They learn to work as a team, communicate effectively, and apply specific protocols tailored to tactical situations.

T.E.C.C. training is particularly relevant for healthcare professionals working in the armed forces, police services, SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) teams, disaster response teams, private security services, or any other field where it is essential to provide emergency medical care in high-risk environments.

At the end of the training, participants will be able to manage traumatic emergency situations in tactical environments, provide basic and advanced care to the injured, make rapid and accurate decisions, and effectively coordinate the medical team’s efforts to ensure the best possible patient care.

In summary, T.E.C.C. training is an intensive program that prepares healthcare professionals and first responders to provide emergency medical care in high-risk tactical situations. It develops the necessary skills to manage traumatic injuries and save lives in hostile and volatile environments.
